SMS Guardian Service

Enroll in our new SMS Guardian Service and receive text alerts directly to your mobile device regarding activity on your United National Bank Debit Card. United National Bank wants to help you monitor your account activity and this is another way to help keep you up-to-date wherever you are.

Once enrolled, when purchases that meet the established criteria are made with your United National Bank debit card, a text will be sent to your device for you to review. The text will include the last four digits of your card number, the name of the merchant and the purchase amount.

If the purchase is legitimate, you don’t need to do anything. If you don’t reply to the text message within 12 hours, the transaction is considered legitimate and no further action will occur.

If you think that the purchase transaction is fraudulent, reply immediately to the text. Your card will be blocked from further criminal activity and we will order a new United National Bank debit card and have it sent to you as quickly as possible. This added layer of security enables fraudulent activity to be identified and stopped immediately, which significantly reduces the likelihood that subsequent unauthorized transactions will occur.
